You have probably heard a lot about Android app affiliate marketing and that it can provide a fantastic passive income for you. Well, this is indeed true. Affiliate marketing can indeed create a passive income, meaning you just add some links to your app and sit back and let the money come rolling in.
OK, life is not as easy as that or we would all be doing it. Affiliate marketing does require some work on your behalf. So, what are the steps you need to be doing to make sure your affiliate marketing works?
1: App usage – If your app is not being used frequently the ads that you have on your website will simply not be seen and therefore will definitely not be clicked. This means no income for you. You have to ensure that your app is used regularly if you want to increase your income.
2: App quality – We are often asked why isn’t our app being used frequently? Well, that usually comes down to, and I’m sorry to tell you, the quality of the app. Apps that have a large download ratio but small usage ratio usually have poor quality content that does not entice the user to return to the app. If your app isn’t being used, ask the question why?
3: Affiliate relevance – There are times that the ads being shown are simply not of any relevance to the audience. This happens more when people sign up to private affiliate companies that just throw on any ad banners regardless of content. If your app is meeting place for teenagers, you really don’t want ads to show up that is for retirement homes.
4: Testing – That’s right guys, once you have links on your app, test them yourself and make sure they link to the right places, the worst thing you want is to have links that say one thing then link to something like a sex page your users will lose their trust in you.
If you need any more help with determining which affiliate site you should sign up with, or you want to know why you are not meeting the download to usage ration, please be in contact and I am sure we can help you.
