Select an app category and provide contact details

To ensure proper organization and user communication, it is essential to complete the "Select an App Category and Provide Contact Details" section during the app publishing process on Google Play.

First, navigate to the Store Settings section of the Developer Console.

Then proceed with the form:

1. App Category:

   • Click on the "Edit" button in the "App category" section.
     
   • Choose the appropriate type and category that best represents your app.
     
   • Click "Save" to confirm your selection.
     
     

2. Store Listing Contact Details:

   • Click on the "Edit" button in the "Store Listing contact details" section.
     
   • Enter the following contact information:
     • Your email address.
     • Phone number (optional).
     • The Website URL from the Self-publish page.
       
   • Click "Save" to save your contact details.
     
     

3. Now, depending on your purpose, follow these steps:

   • For Publishing: If you are in the process of publishing your app, return to the Console Dashboard and continue the publication process.
