AppsGeyser has been one of the top Android App Builder Platforms for the past few years now and the only reason we have become so successfully, obviously our platform is amazing, but it is because our app makers, YOU guys out there, are creating some fantastic apps and really know how to create an Android app successfully. An Android app making tool platform can only be successful if the apps that are being created using it are successful so I would like to thank you all for input.
We are always being asked why apps are not successful and would like to highlight the five ways to ensure your Android app is a success, after all, we all want to create an Android app successfully.
The 5 top Android success tips:
1. ASO
We have spoken about App Store Optimization in a number of our posts recently and with the changes that occurred in GooglePlay last month, the uses of these techniques are even more important in order to ensure your app is successful. ASO is split into a number of categories, including app name, app description, logo, use of keywords and screenshots. Each of the points described are important in their own sense and together they are an unbreakable team. Have a look back at our post on ASO for more information.
2. Marketing
How can your app be a success if no-one knows that it exists? Even with fantastic ASO your app will not be hitting its full advantage if you are not marketing your app. One of our favourite and most successful marketing techniques is the use of social networking. We suggest that you build your audience well before you launch your app. Social networking is not about selling your product or brand, its all about building relationships. 3. Plan app to suit market
Have you carried out some research to ensure that there is space in the market and a need for an app like the one you are seeking to create? It is vital that you understand your audience and what they need before you begin to create your app. What you may wish to do is create a number of apps and test them out on friends and family before you launch your final app onto Google Play. Planning your app will build your foundations to Android app success
4. Content and copyright
Having already decided upon your app style to suit your market you need to start filling your app with content. We always suggest that any content on your app is unique and written by yourself in order to not infringe on anyone else’s copyright, after all you wouldn’t want someone coming along and stealing your hard work so don’t do it to others. Learn more about copyright on your blog.
5. Keep app free
Finally, if we have learnt anything over the years regarding app making, it is that apps that cost money are less successful than apps that are free, this is because there is so much competition in the market that there is simply no need for app users to pay for apps. This doesn’t mean you won’t make money from your app, there are plenty of other ways to monetize your app.
