While attempting to upload a new app bundle for updating your publication, you may stumble upon an error message that reads, "Change your app's target API level". This error message would look something like this:
This error usually indicates that the template your application relies on is deprecated and is not supported by AppsGeyser anymore. But before we get into resolving the main issue, it's advisable to first ensure that your AAB (Android App Bundle) is freshly rebuilt. Here's a refresher on how to do it:
- Go to the Download page of the Dashboard and click
"rebuild and download new .aab".
- Once AAB is downloaded, upload this newly generated AAB file to the Play Console, replacing the previous one.
- If the error persists, we suggest you create a new app with a similar functionality using the relevant template. Then you would need to update your publication with this new app, please refer to our guide: How to update my publication with a different AppsGeyser app.
