1.  Visit the Firebase Console

You might have heard about the Firebase. It is a platform from where you can do numerous things. Sending app notifications is also quite convenient through it. We are going to use the Firebase platform because of its ease of use and effectiveness.

2. Add a Project

3. Create a Project

Write the name of your app or project in the textbox corresponding to the Project Name option. Select your country from the drop-down menu corresponding to the Country/region option. It’s the time when your project is created and ready to be configured for all the project settings. Click on the Create Project button to start the project creation process.

4. Modify Project Settings

Now you will be redirected to a brand new dashboard for your project. Our goal is to reach out to the cloud messaging section. Therefore we will have to go to the project settings at first. You can click on the settings logo on the top of the dashboard, like the picture below.

5. Visit the Cloud Messaging Tab

You will be redirected to the settings tab of Firebase in which you have to select the Cloud Messaging tab option. The interface will be just as shown below.

As you can see, there is a tab named Cloud Messaging just after the General tab in Settings. You can adjust a lot of settings through the General tab as well, such as adjusting your project name or app name. Our primary goal is to reach the Cloud Messaging tab because the push notifications come under the department of it.

6. Configure the Server Settings

Configuring the server settings is the second last step to get to your notification sending goals. You will see a Server Key and Server ID of your Cloud Messaging platform like below.

Copy and paste these values in the space provided and click on the Save button. Now you are very close to posting the notifications.

7. Create and Send Notifications

After clicking the Save button, you will be redirected to a screen that holds some instructions for you as follows.

Now, your server settings are saved, and you are all set to get to the notification creation panel. Click on the Create Push button to start the journey. You will see an interface like below.
