Last week AppsGeyser suffered a multiple database failure that resulted in some temporary issues. A number of accounts were deleted from our systems causing significant inconvenience for a small percentage of our users.
Today we are happy to announce that we have now recovered over 90% of the data and users that have been affected should now be able to access their accounts and their apps once again.
Was I affected?
The accounts that were affected by the data lose were those that were created between September 15th 2012 and September 30th 2012.
How can I check if my data is back?
Please log back into the system using your original username and password. Once you have successfully logged you click on your dashboard and begin to check your data.
What if I don’t understand what I should do?
We are here to support you. If you have any questions please contact us and we will assist you step by step. You can contact me directly firstname.lastname@example.org and I will assist you personally.
Will this happen again?
In light of this error we immediately put into place an automated system that protects us from this form of database and server failure.
