Are you a budding writer that has yet to be published? Why not start your own career off with creating an e-book app with the AppsGeyser free Android app tools? You do not need to be an expert programmer to start creating an e-book Android app, all you need is the contents of your book, set out in four to five chapters ready to paste into our HTML editor on AppsGeyser. The rest is done for you.
How do I create an HTML app?
Creating an HTML app has become even easier than ever. AppsGeyser now has a built in HTML editor, which means, in simple terms, we create the code for you. All you need to do is enter the content. Using the HTML editor you can paste your text, change the font size and colors and also add images.
To get with started on your e-book you need to click on ‘create an app’. From the app tool menu choose HTML and you will see in front of you a screen that looks like this
This will be your first page. On this page you should include your details including name and title of the book, perhaps an image and a summary of your e-book. Once you finish this step, you may then continue to complete the rest of the information required and press ‘Create App’. We create the app at this point to get our dashboard ready to add new tabs and the rest of the content.
The next step you need to take is to start adding tabs. In these tabs will be the content of your e-book. You have the option to split your e-book into 4 chapters to make it easy to follow.
Open your dashboard and click on Edit. In the edit tab you will see the option to add tabs.
When you add a tab you need to again choose the HTML format and then copy and paste your text into the HTML editor. Name the tab and click create.
That is it – you have created your first e-book.
Why use the HTML editor?
There are a number of benefits for using the HTML editor:
1. The HTML editor allows the content to be accessible when there is no internet access
2. You do not need to have any prior content created to start making an app with the HTML editor
3. If you want to get more creative, you can use your own HTML code. Websites such as W3 schools can teach you how to create HTML code from scratch.
Good luck with your e-book Android app. Why not post your app to our facebook page, we would love to see how well it came out.
