Make An App – I’m here, hello, can you see me? Get your marketing planned so Im not missed
Publishing your app to Google Play is not the key to app success. It is true that Google Play remains the most popular of all Android app stores but how will app users know that your app even exists if you have not planned your marketing?
There are many ways in which you can plan your mobile app marketing strategy before you publish your app into an app store.
1: Use existing website – Most app makers build apps to grow their existing business, for most this means that they already have a strong online presence. Your website landing page should have reference to, and once live, a link to your mobile app.
2: Keywords and app optimization – Before you have begun to make an app, you need to know what keywords you need to plan for your app. At present app stores do not read content for app optimization, but they do take notice of app title, keywords and descriptions.
3: Customer Service – make sure that you plan customer service into your app. If your users have nowhere to turn to if they have an issue, they will simply leave a poor review which you can not delete. To stop this from happening have a clear contact plan for your customers so they can contact you directly and not via the review process.
4: Use your social – Almost every business has a social presence. If you do not then you are missing out on the largest of all free marketing tools in the modern marketing world. Get social well before you launch your app. The basic pages that you need to be active on are: Facebook, Twitter and Google+
