You may have thought that once your app is live in the app store you can just sit back and forget about it. Well that is not completely true because you need to updatie your app to show your users that you take pride in your app and take care of it. Things change frequently in life in general and this can have an effect on your app, you need to be showing your audience that your app is up to date with the latest technology, news, photos and more.
update your app and relaunch it as many times as you wish
You can also relaunch your app with a new name and new app description in order to work on your marketing. It may take time to understand which keywords will work best for you, so by launching a number of times with a few tweaks can really show you what works and what doesn’t work before you being to push one app over the other.
The first thing you may wish to do is to take the Google adwords tool and use it to find words that are suitable to your app. The question that you have to ask yourself is; what is my app about? what would people be looking for that will come to my app. use the words that pop into your head as a guide to which words would work for your app name and keywords within your description.
You will be able to see the results and what you are looking for is a word or phrase that is searched for regularly a month with low competition. You also want to make sure that there is no app by that name currently in GooglePlay. Choose the new name and relaunch of your app.
You also need to change the description of your app to suit the new name and the usage of the app.
Once you have rebuilt your app you can upload it to GooglePlay. What is great is that because you have already paid your $25 for Googleplay you are able to upload as many apps as you wish.
I suggest once you see which app is reaching a larger audience size you then delete the other from GooglePlay, this is because you don’t want to confuse your audience with two similar apps.
