How to Create App: Your Ultimate Guide

1. Define Idea for App
Your first step before starting developing an app is to understand what you want to build? Think of app you want to make:

- what are the main features?
- what concrete problem is it gonna solve?
- how can you improve your idea?
There are different tools you can use to look for ideas or check if people are interested in the chosen theme. For example, use Google Trends or Buzzsumo to monitor popular topics.
Remember, defining the clear idea is important to make your app functional and appealing to users. Researching can help you better market and monetize your app.
2. Choose App Template
Choose one of the templates that best suits your App idea.

3. Customize and Upload Content
At this stage, you can edit layout and customize buttons, tabs and content. It is important to give your app an unique look. The depth of customization depends on your template. But one thing is common – it is a total fun to do!
To add features, graphics and content, you have to fill out few simple forms.

Same with description. Use important keywords to describe the functions and features of your app. It gives potential users a better idea of what your app does. And for sure, it optimizes its discoverability on app markets.
The app description should be relevant. Consider your target audience and address their needs. Speak their language, add a specific call to action text and explain to users why they enjoy using your app.
You can always go back to Google Play to research your competitors apps descriptions. Another cool tool to use is Google Keyword Planner. It can help you to define popular keywords that users type in searches.
Example: fitness tracker app’s description with main features and relevant keywords. At the end of the text, there is a call to action text. Try to be even more informative.
Last, but not least, you have to choose an icon for your app. You can use default one or upload your own icon. Remember, the better-looking icon, the higher chances users will notice and install it. You can research on Google Play what icons use top apps in your niche. The custom icon should have resolution 512x512px.
To finish your process and create app, click on the “Create” button.
5. Publish the App
The last step of the journey is to publish created app on the market. Google Play is the best option there for three simple reasons:
